About Kirsty
Kirsty has strong experience in all aspects of family and children law. Her particular interest is in children cases involving an international or complex element. She has a particular insight into dynamics of expatriate families and offshore arrangements, having first-hand experience of expatriate matters having practiced as an Attorney in the Cayman Islands.
In 2025 she was named Downtown Liverpool’s legal personality of the year and also nominated for Liverpool Law Society’s Outstanding Lawyer Award. She is often invited to speak at conference such as the International Child Law Conference in and local conferences on Relocation, Neurodiversity in family law and domestic abuse.
She is well-regarded and is a member of Resolution, the Association of Lawyers for Children, International Bar Association and the Child Abduction Lawyers Association.
Kirsty is well versed in cases involving coercive control and domestic abuse with a keen interest in children cases involving all topics, including the following:

- rights of LGBTQ+ children and families
