About Katie

Katie is a Solicitor specialising in private family law, advising on matters including child arrangement orders, protective injunctions, divorce and financial remedies.

She graduated from Manchester Law School in 2021 with a First-Class Law degree. During her studies, she gained valuable experience with the Crown Prosecution Service, reviewing the handling of criminal cases from initial police involvement to engaging with senior criminal barristers scrutinising managements and outcomes of criminal trials. She also volunteered at a national law firm’s pro bono legal clinic, providing detailed legal research to support fee earners.

Katie went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law, alongside obtaining a Master’s degree.

Prior to qualification, Katie worked as a private family law paralegal at a local firm and later completed a specialised training contract focused exclusively on private family law at a global firm with a significant presence in the UAE and Chambers recognition in the UK.

She has experience across a broad range of family law matters, but has a keen interest in private children law including Non-molestation orders, occupation orders, prohibited steps order, specific issue order as well as child arrangement orders. Katie understands that family proceedings often arise during highly sensitive and stressful times, and she is committed to providing clear, pragmatic advice with an empathetic and supportive approach. She aims to act as a steady source of guidance, helping clients reach favourable outcomes whilst maintaining the paramount consideration being the welfare of the children.
