About Jessica
Jessica qualified as a Solicitor in January 2026 and has worked exclusively in Family Law throughout her legal career. Prior to qualification, she gained over four years’ experience as a Family Paralegal and Trainee Solicitor, assisting clients across all aspects of family law and developing a broad understanding of both public and private law proceedings.
Jessica is a member of the Public Law Family Team at McAlister Family Law and primarily represents parents involved in care proceedings. She is experienced in supporting clients through all stages of proceedings, from the commencement of Local Authority involvement through to final hearings, providing clear advice and robust representation throughout.
Jessica is particularly passionate about legal aid and access to justice. Having worked extensively in publicly funded family law, she has significant experience assessing clients’ eligibility for legal aid in matters relating to child arrangements and is able to quickly identify whether public funding may be available.
Throughout her career, Jessica has also represented clients in financial remedy proceedings and matters involving domestic abuse where protective injunctions are required.
Jessica prides herself on delivering a high standard of client care and building strong relationships with her clients. Known for her approachable and supportive manner, she combines professionalism with empathy to ensure clients feel listened to, informed and supported throughout their case.
