About David
David is an experienced family law solicitor who is instructed by clients to help them following a relationship breakdown. David appreciates that navigating the complexities of family law, often under strained conditions, requires a pragmatic approach and a keen eye for detail, allowing him to provide practical solution-based advice to his clients.
David’s practice covers a range of family law issues. Most of the instructions which David receives stem from the breakdown of a marriage particularly addressing their financial remedy claims. However, David is also instructed to help resolve disputed arrangements for children, including issues which arise when one parent wishes to relocate, either domestically or internationally and disputes which arise over financial support for children. David is also instructed by unmarried couples who wish to reach an agreement to regulate how they are to live during their relationship as well as helping them to understand and seek what they are entitled to in the event their relationship breaks down.
David has experience advising a broad range of clients, having regularly been instructed by business owners, farmers, teachers, professional services, health care professionals and homemakers, taking his time to understand that his clients want to achieve and tailoring his advice to meet their specific needs.

Outside of work, David lives in Manchester and enjoys the experiences and trappings of city centre living. However whenever he gets the opportunity to escape the city, he loves nothing more than borrowing his friend’s dog, getting his walking boots on and exploring the neighbouring hills and fells.
